My gawd!!!!! This guy it horrible. Can someone please tell him he doesn't have to scream while calling a race.

I know, I know, there is a mute button, but shouldn't have to be forced to mute a call of a race because of an announcer screaming......... Sorry, just had to rant.

I love listening to Grunder!!

C'mon he should know better. I'll give him credit for accurately pronouncing the winner multiple times (tongue twister).

Grunder is great. And his pronunciations are sometimes my favorite part. Last year there was a horse named Si Si Mamacita. for most spanish aware people Si is pronounced See. Well he called it Cy Cy Mamacita all the way around to victory. Many people dont know that Grunder spent many years up here at Portland Meadows!!

I want to name a racehorse Phasternchit :rolleyes:

Is great! I think he brings alot of energy all through the race, he's vocal yes, but never boring. Loved his call a couple years back, when Street Sense and Any Given Saturday hooked up in an amazing finish!

well, guess I'm in the minority here. Just can't stand the yelling throughout the entire race. I know there are points in a race where the volume should rise, but not the entire race.

Turn the volume down. Give him a chance. Pick a few winners. You'll wind up liking him. He's very good.

Rudeboy offered to bet before the race. He said Grunder would say Mer-lot not Mer-lo.

31lengths and I smartly refused that bet. We knew. :)
