Trips and Traps

La Concerto wins today. Had him on stable mail courtesy of Andy but wasn't playing 2day. Went off even $$$$$. Hidden gem of a show at NYRA. Everyone watching?

The third place horse was much the best - the poor break cost her the race... still a bit green - hope to see 10-1 again next time :$:

Maybe one of this weeks focus horses. Didn't see the race but like the show. Kinda like Cliff notes.

Any way we can coordinate Imbriable's call with the START of the race? Why is it that the MOFO thinks the race starts 2 SECONDS after it actually does? Is he on WEB TIME DELAY? The racing isn't bad enough, we need uncoordinated, LAZY mofo's calling races too. Too tough to start on time, John?

Imbriale is a very good race caller. He isn't flashy but he call all the horses positions, gives the fractions, and their positions during the race. I watch NYRA everyday. I have NOT noticed any delay.
If there was one...the gate crew is at fault. They daddle when the horses are in the gate, and it is unclear when the starter releases the gate until they are running.

From reading your posts, you are a whiner.

I think sometimes the audio and video are not perfectly together. Very often I hear a horse is clear by 2 when it's really a second or two before it happens. Maybe sometimes the other way?

Not sure,

Things could be worse. Our OTB's owner chooses Country music in lieu of any race calls. And if you complain you get knocked out by the daughter,

I listened very carefully today at the OTB, and you are on the money.

The visual and the audio are not in sync. At the starts today, the visual was ahead of the audio. And, many times during a race, the visual lags or breaks-up,while the audio is ahead.

I watch NYRA both at the OTB and from my PC. Same results either place.
