What exactly is the point of running this horse?

Delta Downs R7, #9 All the Difference is an 8 year old mare making her 5th career start.... and first since April 17, 2004. Her "tuneup" work went 3F in :41 4/5.

not yet...most recent ultrasound looks like I have til february. she hasn't gotten that much bigger really, though it's hard to tell since she looks like a yak or some other wild thing with her winter coat.

Is it crazy to fear the worst here?

There's nothing in the pools right now with 11mtp but she's 6-1!

Especially if it looks like a yak.

I think I might be able to outrun that mare if the time is real....but who knows what kind of cajun cooking is going on with her.

She actually showed speed for 3F, dueled with the favorite, then faded pretty fast. Still, it's almost criminal to have her out there at this point.
