Rahm Emanuel

IMO he is likely Individual C in the Blago indictment (a former House Rep) and if that is true it spells trouble with a capital T for Obama.

it was tagged on Drudge as causing Obama to get a Grand Jury subpoena. Whether he has gotten it yet isn't clear.

I just read that part of the indictment again. It seems almost impossible that a very highly placed member of the Obama campaign..a campaign that has painstakingly distanced itself from Blago at every opportunity, would, 16 days before the election be involved with trying to help him move funds around.

My money is that Individual C is Dan Rostenkowski or Dennis Hastert

He hasn't technically but announced the intention when he signed off w/Obama. US Atty Fitzgerald is a lot like Seinfeld he's good like that.

I'd doubt it's a republican, especially Hastert. If I was Barack though, I'd be going thru the bunch from Chicago he's appointed again. He doesn't need any surprises to pop up.

Rosty is a good pic and probably odds wise is ahead of Emanuel. I'm just partial to Rahm LOL.

I was just running through likely candidates who were former House Reps..Probably not Hastert.

The news said that Senate Candidate #1 who Obama wanted appointed was Valerie Jarrett. She withdrew about the same time Blago was calling Obama a mother f*cker.

dellinger63 12-09-2008 06:42 PM

who's concrete contractor man? Plote or Polumbo?

Quiet Chris 12-10-2008 05:35 PM

The Obama Administration will be crippled by scandal by year 2. Numerous scandals, probably most of which Obama has no idea about.

You can't put these Chicago guys in power and expect anything else.

Texas and Illinois have more thugs than any states in the country. Maybe LA gives them a run.

Rahm ducks media He's a Trib guy I guess

New Jesse Jackson news today

Even though U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. says he has gotten a clean bill of health from federal prosecutors, sources tell the Chicago Sun-Times he's not yet in the clear.

But a source in Blagojevich's camp said Thursday that representatives of Jackson approached Blagojevich's brother Robert, who is the governor's campaign-finance chairman, about the open seat. Jackson has identified himself as the "Senate Candidate 5" listed in Blagojevich's criminal complaint.
