Scav and other Chitown people

Hey ...Calabrese (Catalano trained) owns a filly that broke her maiden sprinting at AP on 5/19 on dirt. They bought her to Colonial this past Sat. for the Tippet Stakes (5 1/2 on turf) and she won going away. I had her singled in the middle leg of the late Pick 3 and she looked very professional in leading at every call, going :21.40, :43.8, :55.4, 1:01.6. Best looking stride I have seen on a 2yo turfer in a while.

Dreaming of Anna is her name and she is BEAUTIFULLY bred. Sired by Rahy out of the Broad Brush mare Justenuffheart. Any noise being made about this girl around there. She seems to have the makings of something special IMO.

Not for two year olds, they run 2 of them a week for older...She will route though I bet...What is nuts is that Calabrese had the mare that produced Lewis Michael and Dreaming of Anna and he sold her I guess

No doubt this girl will make her living routing. I do hope she lives up to the promise that she has shown thus far. She is gonna be a fun one to watch develop.

Any reason why he sold her? I hope because it was a great offer.

I don't think Calabrese is real serious about breeding, I could be wrong though
