Old Spice Classic

Heck of a tourney coming up this weekend in College Basketball. Don't sleep on Siena, their press and speed could give Tennessee fits. Do yourself a favor and switch over from the Lions/Titans game to ESPN2 and you'll be far more entertained by Siena/Tennessee.

First round matchups, Thursday 11/27

12 PM ET - (12)Tennessee vs Siena
2 PM ET - (16) Georgetown vs Wichita St
7 PM ET - (6) Michigan St vs Maryland
9 PM ET - (10) Gonzaga vs Oklahoma St

Combined the teams are 20-1 going in.

I'm totally not actually. If anything I'm the opposite, always too harsh on the teams I like. But this team is very good and very capable of knocking off Tennessee. And win or lose first round there will be some very intriguing matchups in the semis and the finals in this tourney.

One of the few mid-majors with some excitement this year. He's definitely right, they can beat Tennessee... would love to see it.

and since I know where Sniper went to college, he's not being a homer :p

Considering I could walk to Siena's home arena though I think it is fair to accuse me of being a homer. Following a D3 basketball team, even if they are a powerhouse, isn't quite as enjoyable.
