I'm safe... but never sound.

I was supposed to drive up to San Francisco for a 49ers game, but was blocked on all fronts. The smoke is pretty bad. May try to get through early tomorrow morning... otherwise I'm eating the tickets and the hotel room. :mad:

We just can't get to fkn winter. Every year now we are getting this 5 month extended summer.

Why can't you go up the 101?

my mom just came from the san fernando valley to santa barbara on the 101 this morning. it should be open!!

At the time, 5:00 a.m., I considered it, but my friend said the 101 was closed due to the Montecito fire. I didn't feel like driving all the way out there "just in case." I later learned I could have.

I've been told the 5 is now open, so a 2:30 a.m. exodus is now planned. :eek: :zz:
