DRF PP Question

What does the lowercase "r" represent in the past performances? In today's 5th race the 6 horse, Unigold, in his latest running line after the weight it has fr.

I know "f" means front bandages, what is 'r' for?

i did not know that. midnight lute performance aside, bar shoes is the biggest negative equipment change to me. some say front wraps are but plenty of great horses used front wraps so i don't devalue that as much.

I agree though. I don't like hearing or seeing bar shoe or aluminum pad. I was taught wraps are bad, but I think that's changed as you mentioned. Some trainers just always use them.

I just found it online on some website, you are correct on the notation.

I also don't like aluminum pad or vet scratches. Then again I bet against Chief Talkeetna at CD yesterday after he was vet scratched last week and subsequently dropped... of course he galloped!
