rough day for Leparoux

Looks like the poor kid only ended up winning 7 races today; ran 2nd in his last 2 mounts.

I just heard about that on Steve's show.. I am wondering if there has ever been a jockey that swept the whole card? Now THAT would be something as well.

Eddie Castro won on 9 of 11 mounts in a 13 race card at Calder back in 2005

Kev you beat me to it. That was the day you played him on top and hit every super.

Antley also won 9 races in a day back in 87...but it was at two different tracks. 4 at Aqueduct during the day and 5 at the Big M later that night.

Don't forget he swept the late pick 4 that day too Gus. Had it for $50 straight:cool:

Luckily for me, I stopped my Leparoux parlay after his 7th win.

I know I'll never forget the day I saw Stewart Elliot win two races in the same day.
It was one of the most shocking performances in the history of the sport.

You're going to have to provide proof on that one.

and the horses were not all favorites
they might have been bet down to favoritism but there were actually horses in the race that looked better on paper.
