Australian racing pool manipulation tonight
 

Anybody else watching Australian racing Monday night? In the later races, someone has jumped in with dumping $20K plus into the win pool on a particular horse, then using a computer (looks like) to place appropriate win amounts (thousands) on the other horses in the race to gain a profit no matter who wins.

In other words, American pools (I think the US pools go through Canada and comingle) that are normally a few thousand dollars, are tonight up around thirty thousand.

My exp with the Australian pools are at times they are generous and at times you get the short end of the stick. The problem is depending on the night you can bet a 10-1 shot with a min to post and when the race ends it is either 5-1 or 15-1 depending on the size of the pools.
