Interesting Article on Reaganomics

I should have called it a blog entry. It is by krugman, professor of economics and nobel prize winner.

This guy is pretty far left but he did win the nobel prize for economics so he knows his stuff.

The debate over the effectiveness of supply side economics will be debated for a long time.

is it possible to get a nobel prize without being far left?

I am pretty certain Milton Friedman won it, and I sure wouldn't call him a far leftist.

There's also an interesting Washington Monthly article from 2004 about conservatives rewriting Reagan's legacy-

http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/fea...301.green.html

It's not in this article, but my favorite quip someone said about Bush was that he actually governs the way conservatives pretend Reagan governed. Anyway, it's a fair article (certainly doesn't make him look bad) and reminded me of a lot of stuff I'd forgotten about the Reagan Administration.
