Cashing out of state winning tickets

I was in Seattle two days ago and made some bets before I flew in to houston (where I live)

I have a winning ticket but Sam Houston Race Park wont cash it for me. Do I need to fly back to Seattle to cash this ticket? I thought any track can cash any ticket.

Naw. Even Churchill woudn't cash an Arlington ticket for me.

Go on the track website, it will tell you to photocopy the ticket for your records, and give you the address to mail it to (the mutuals department of the track) and they'll mail you a check.

I would even consider spending the extra couple of $ and send it certified and return receipt and maybe even insured if it a a BIG ticket.
