Not likely. Got stuck on the also eligible list and need a bunch of scratches which is unlikely.

an ae in the first at cd

I am hoping that they write an extra race for Fridays card when they need to fill 11 races. There were 19 fillies that didnt get into the race so there are plenty of potentials for an extra race.

She got a spiffy new haircut too, so she's all ready for her debut :)

No surprise, didn't get in, scratched this morning. Hopefully Saturday or Sunday!

Very nice move. Ryan was aboard and she had a tight hold all the way around.

Weekend Start

Didn't really see anything that suits her in the condition book for this weekend unless she goes in a 46K MSW or goes against winners. Is this a possibility?

They write 'extra' races sometimes, especially when a race overfills, such as the one today.

Heels1989 10-29-2008 11:03 AM

This is probably the extra race Chuck is considering

X5 EXTRA RACE NO 5 MAIDEN CLAIMING
Purse $18,000. For Maidens, Fillies Two Years Old.
Weight 121 lbs.
CLAIMING PRICE $30,000, if for $25,000, allowed 2 lbs.

Extras are written on a daily basis and reflect the racing office's understanding of horses on the grounds waiting to run and act as fluid fill-ins for scheduled condition book races that may not fill to the racing office's satisfaction.

Here is the Churchill Overnight for Friday (drawn yesterday) with Extras for Saturday which will draw today (Scroll to bottom): http://www.churchilldowns.com/sites/...e%20column.pdf

("X5" would be Rampillion's, as Dave indicated above, should Ben Huffman decide to use it. As Chuck wrote the partners this morning, he was given an indication that the race would most likely be used Sunday instead...)

Chuck wrote to the partners? You don't mean he sent an e-mail but posted on the message board? I did not receive an e-mail if that is what you meant.
