Won seven in a row before Break Water Edison ran fourth. Finished 28/8-3-2 I believe.

They don't know. Pletcher won five in a row in '04, but they don't have the books to say if it's a record or not.

Now there's a conspiracy theory, LOL. It will be interesting to see how his Belmont meet goes. Running through conditions at the Spa sometimes doesn't bode well for Belmont unless you have massive numbers in the barn. Kind of like Mott last summer.

Is Loretta Lusteg back in the Kimmel barn?

VOL JACK 09-02-2008 10:27 AM

Kimmel could win 20 in a row and it wouldnt change the fact that he gets less with more. Gets only the best clients and horses and yet routinely ends up at 10% for the year.

Once upon a time, Joe Woodard won 9 races in a row at CD. Try to find someone that thinks he can train.
