They need power in the middle of the line up, he does have power...
Though they are a bad fielding team now, with him in Left it wont get any better

Well, if they did this to win games against teams other than the Dodgers, then o.k., but the Dodgers get this guy out(usually by strike out-like 3 or 4 times a game.) I have to be honest. The Dodgers appear to be enough to keep the Dodgers from overtaking the D-Backs. You name it. Anything they need to do to lose close games, they will do it. Talented fck ups. They honestly should only be losing games against the best pitchers in the league. They can't hit them, but there aren't that many games like that. THE GIANTS HAVE ONE GUY OF THAT QUALITY(LEN C. CUM,) AND THEY'VE NOT BEEN HAVING TO FACE HIM. So, when they lose these games to them, it's gunna be because they are fck ups. They have the talent to easily beat that team. BTW, Dunn is not just a bad fielder. He is absolutely atrocious out there. Manny is atleast a good enough athlete to be able to judge where to run slowly to. Dunn is lost out there.

Oh heck. Get a bad fielder might as well forget defense altogether and go with this lineup

Dunn, Young and Upton (when he gets activated) - From Right to Left
3B - Tracy
SS - Drew
2B - Mark Reynolds
1B - Jackson.

They would have to score 10 a game

Manny just knocked 2 in with a double. I feel sorry for the guy having to play with this bunch of loser types. He deserves to play with a better group of competitors. This is a team that settles for .500.

LOL...Bowa sent LONEY home from 2nd on a ball the rightfielder was playing shallow on. Lerch was so out. Casey went yard though...6-0 Dodgers. SEE, WHEN THEY GET THEIR FACE RUBBED IN DA POO, they will hit. They aren't a consistent bunch. They=lazy hearted

Do they need 100 K's too?

An out is an out. They need a big stick and they got one but the team is very strangely patched together. Not to mention that they will get 2 type A picks for him when he leaves in the off season. The one player that we know about the Reds getting wasnt a real top prospect type.

i've heard scouts say that if he can return to his pre-tommyjohn form it could be a steal. that' a big IF.
also heard this a.m. that the players to be named later may be on the 40 man, so they will have to wait out the waiver process. it'll be interesting to see who exactly that is before judging the trade.

either way, it's a good deal for the Reds, they weren't excited about getting draft picks for him, and there was a slight chance that arbitration with him would have killed them for next year.
