8/11: Saratoga (Day 18)
First half of meet ends today after another weather struggle Sunday. Never had chance to adjust to changes, and the major deluge which scuttled the 5th off the turf created P4/P3 turmoil, and consternation, for many. Anxious to get through another wet day today as the rest of the week, and Alabama Weekend, look far more promising. For all whose work is connected to the track, the weather havoc has been arduous, as have the increasingly burdensome daily 10 & 11 race cards.
