Golden Weekend

When did they cut this horse?

Cannon Shell 07-31-2008 08:29 PM

Seriously why does it bother you so much?

the_fat_man 07-31-2008 08:36 PM

Would suck if he were to run well tomorrow and
it were to turn out that they never tried him on the turf before cutting him.

yeah, god knows we don't already have plenty of stallions standing out there.

far too many horses left intact, because far too many think they have the next storm cat.

He is by Golden Missile, maybe he was......uh, you know...

There isn't a big demand for horses that only run well on grass as sires either. At least it seems that way to me.

Never implied that was the case here.

And who knows whether this horse does anything else on the turf.

On the other hand, Flying Z pumps out a steady stream of turf runners. Why not have this horse available?

This assumes, of course, that he was cut AFTER making it to the races.

Golden Missile stands at Highcliff, which is where many of Flying Zee's mares are boarded, so they don't need a stallion who is a son of GM there.
