Baffert was in my booth with his son Bode the last day of Hollywood. He said the next day. July 14th was an important work. Might want to check the tab.

He's hoping to go forward in defense of his BC sprint title.

That would be fun. Midnight Lute vs. Street Boss and lot's of others as well.

BC fever starting to heat up baby!

:58 3/5 work on 7/24, best of 60 at Del Mar. Guessing he turns up in the Pat O' Brien.

I guess they couldn't fix his breathing issues. They had been wanting to try for the Classic right? Was there anything else behind their not wanting to do that?

Maybe Saratoga.

As of his last workout the other day, plans are for the O'Brian or the race at the Spa.

I think we touched on this months ago with his last race, but it may be worth repeating. For Bob Baffert to lay a horse off for this long it can't speak well on a horse's health. I think Baffert's great for the game and I like him as a trainer but this is a guy who has never taken it easy on horses. I would say Midnight Lute is a must bet against in his next start, if it's the O'Brien then great. As a horseplayer you have to look for opportunities like these.
