Sid Craig, human being, dies. One response. Horse dies, many responses. Something seems a little bit backwards to me.

Well, it is a horse racing board, not a people racing board. ;)

Condolences to his family.

Contest OVER. Here is your winner (loser) for the stupidest post of 2008. In fact, I'm confident that this is your 2009 winner too. It's that stupid.

Oh, get over yourself. It's terribly sad for his family that he's gone, though, since the obit said it was after a long illness, I'm guessing he was probably in some serious discomfort at the end, and I would venture that they are probably, along with their grief, also grateful that he's no longer suffering. I think it was actually pretty tacky of you to use his death as an excuse for an animals versus people rant, ergo the blithe reply. Your post deserved no less.

The fact is, he founded a very successful company with his wife, owned some good horses and died in his mid-70's. That's not a bad run. We should all be so lucky.

And dalakhani, it's "bawling their eyes out," not "balling their eyes out." I wouldn't want KG to think you're disrespecting the dearly departed with a rather kinky image, even if it is within the confines of the marital bed.

funny how some can come on here and put someone down but others are immune to the game. a post like this could dash someones hopes and dreams for years to come.

Doctor: Is there any one thing you can pinpoint that led to your ultimate demise?

Ruined Man ( or, in this case, woman ): Most definitely.....years back I was thriving, everything in my life was good, and then some anonymous person was mean to me on the internet. Everything changed.......my hopes and dreams were crushed ( for all the years that came ).
