Oh okay... I had never heard that.

If I didn't know you I'd seriously want to smack you.

Bobby Fischer 07-20-2008 08:16 PM

I would tell the owners that he really needs to go to a different trainer.
Mitchell, Dutrow...

YEA RIGHT

I blame the jockey, the track , the weight, everything... and tell the owners how wonderful he came out of the race.

match race vs perfect drift?

makes evening attire that much more special.

That's what he needs, but the owners got spoiled with 7 grade 1s.

Reunite him with Lonnie Arturburn.

I have mixed feelings... just curious to hear your thoughts.

ArlJim78 07-20-2008 09:15 PM

I see no problem running him, if I owned him I'd look for a different trainer and focus on easier spots and the Calbred stakes.

Danzig 07-20-2008 09:20 PM

there's no reason to retire him if he's fit and healthy. they just might have to find more reasonable spots for him. he's not what he once was, but he can still be a good horse. just might not be a gr 1-er anymore.

Hickory Hill Hoff 07-20-2008 09:23 PM

Send him to Chuck

MaTH716 07-20-2008 09:25 PM

I think that they will and should continue to run him. Hopefully they will find a few better spots. Throw in the whole poly mess for the BC and it would not suprise me to see him eventually end up there.
