Strange Delmar and ADW's
 

Did I miss Something yesterday on my Twinspires Acount there was a notice saying we could not bet on Delmar But low and behold 10 mins ago when I logged on it says I can bet on Delmar. I looked to see if there had been an announcement but could not find one.

I presume TVG came to an Agreement ????? does anyone Know

I think it depends on the state. I don't think people in California can bet on Del Mar on any website except for TVG. On the Twinspires site, I saw a message that said betting on Del Mar would be allowed in certain states.

What a clusterfucl< this whole thing is. Gee, we have to sit around and hope we will be "allowed" to bet on certain tracks and races. Great sport right now.

DEL MAR WAGERING NOW AVAILABLE IN CERTAIN STATES

Good news! The on-again, off-again Del Mar wagering saga is over and XpressBet account holders in certain states now can play Del Mar online and by phone.

Residents of the following 12 states may not wager on Del Mar: California, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.

btw: i know it would be better if there were a single platform that accepted all tracks but it's really not that big an issue to have an xpressbet, tvg, and youbet account.

i won't even mention the possibilty of offshore.

If you bet nearly every track every day, it is a very big issue.

i usually bet 2-3 tracks and only on weekends. i just open multiple tabs on my browser if i can't get them all on 1 platform.

the only problem i've ever had was getting logged off for inactivity if i'm busy on another site. that takes about 20 seconds to resolve.

what particular issues are you having?

I live in Florida and Yesterday I was allowed to bet (Twinspires) on Delmar via my Computer now today I am informed I can only bet via the telephone.

OK, I already said I'm at least considering betting every track every day. Surely you can figure out several of the many difficulties this can cause. Do you really need me to lay it out for you?

Please don't try to compare betting 2-3 tracks on weekends to what I am doing and then ask why I think it sucks.

i wasn't trying to compare. i understand you're betting far more tracks. i'm trying to figure out what problems you're having that multiple tabbing doesn't resolve.

understand my point of view is that of an occasional recreational bettor. i really don't know the particulars of your situation. i can imagine it's incrementaly more difficult if you have to run more tabs but it sounds like there are other issues i'm not aware of.
