Interesting article in Star-Trib

Hey guys,

Interesting article in the Minneapolis Star Tribune based on activity on my website/forum. Trainer, Justin Evans gets called out pretty significantly.

It isnt often that you get mainstream coverage about something like this. I like Evans contention that he is doing better because he is working harder. if only it was that easy...

Good work, Dave. Evans is so full of sh!t it's sad.

The fact Evans brought a veterinarian, Dr. Troy Looper, with him from Arizona for the Canterbury meeting creates more fuel for the skeptics.

"Dr. Looper is licensed to practice in Minnesota, and he works for several trainers other than Justin Evans,'' said Lynn Hovda, the commission's chief veterinarian.

....why do I have visions of Bill Murray with a needle?

Any one else find it compelling that Evans and Ness have miraculously fallen back to earth in the past week or so? Ness has 4 wins since 7/6/08 (6 racing days); Evans with 8 ( one on Sunday and blanked last night)

Out of how many starters for each, you know?

Can't say I blame any of these scumbags for cheating in this sport. I've seen kids suffer much worse in time-out when they do something wrong.

from the entries on the 10th - Ness started 2, won 1 ; Evans started 6, won 1
11th - Ness started 2 won 0; Evans started 5 and won 2
12th - Ness started 3 won 1; Evans start 6 won 3
13th - Ness started 2 won 0; Evans started 4 won 1
17th - Ness started 5 won 1; Evans started 5 won zero

so since the 10th Ness is 21% and Evans 26%; down noticably for the 40%+ figures each of them had been putting up.

39 winners and 81 ITM from 113 starters??
