Taking on some older horses. I like this move and I love the conditions of the race.

He must have him ready because 9F is a little stiff. They must still be thinking Travers. Watch him turn out to be the top 3yr old in the country.

i see my favorite 3 yo, hesaslowhorse is running, or walking anyways

Was Reverberate hurt? feels like a blast from the past...he was running in the Jim Dandy about this time last year.

Good to see Corinthian here.
Looks like his prep for the Travers.

Bernardini would crush him...

I like Bernardini. That said, we'll know more very soon.
Horses go up and down. They are not "constant".
Not that I'm telling you anything you didn't already know.

I think Bernardini is still going forward, I don't think at his best Corinthian will get to where Bernardini is now....

C'mon, Corinthian, make me proud!

I think. He did the Peter Pan, Belmont, Travers last year but then had a lot of time off. Ran like a horse off a long layoff in his initial race (which he was) and should do well in here...

the full brother to Mongoose, Hesaslowhorse probably will improve over time.

I'm with on that one.;) This horse will be heard. I usually like to see if I can find horses that can beat the most dominate horse in the division. I think this horse may beat Bernardini before the year is up.

good to see he's back....certainly didn't find a soft spot to bring him back, probably a better field than in some of the stakes races we've been subjected to.

Downthestretch55 07-27-2006 05:35 PM

Jim Jerkens has been very patient.
This was his derby horse...and he's really never had one that close.
He wouldn't put him out if he doesn't think he's up to it.
If Corinthian shows what I think he will, it's Travers time!
To clarify...he doesn't have to win this. Just show ability.
We'll know very soon. Nice spot here.
