Of course, the KEE-04-13-07_R9, effort, in which he beat Showing Up and Sky Conqueror, was the complete opposite -- he covered more ground than all the others.

Kip Deville handles sharper turns very well.
That is difficult for many horses. He is obviously a horse with
agility and athleticism. So sucking up, while maintaining a
good pace on a turn, is something to be admired imo.

I wish I could train horses to suckup to nine BC wins...

First of all.....who has trained 9 BC winners that is associated with Kip Deville?

But, more importantly, what does that have to do with what was posted. The bottom line is that Kip Deville, while OK, has been tremendously lucky at some very opportune moments.

You obvious haven't been watching Shug's horses on the turf these days. And, thus, offered the general/generic retort, which is basically VALUELESS to me. You must be a supporter of his and quickly came to his defense when you thought I slighted him. Sadly, however, he's only a bit player in this thread, so you can HEEL. Good boy, coming to the defense of your master.

He's talking about Shug, who by the way started another well-bred horse today that went down in flames while hopelessly overbet (Baronial). The good news is he has Cosmic on Wednesday, who will do the same.

I was referring to the statement he made about shug that i bolded in his quote. But his whole statement is true about kip having very good trip after very good trip.

I didn't get the impression he was knocking Shug but maybe I was wrong.

I am really not a fan of his in particular just found it very peculiar to point out such a successful trainer over the years as a suckup trainer. And I love betting against shug nowadays because he is constantly overbet especially in the races your talking about. I just dont view him as a suckup trainer as you do.

Actually, I'm not knocking Shug. He actually gets it when it comes to the turf; and he's had any number of winners just by training his horses to be comfortable inside and behind horses and thus getting very good trips. The beneficial aspect of this is that most are over bet next time out and, predictably, fall on their asses.

Then I just misinterpreted your original comment...and as much as I would like to bet against kip deville, who as you stated constantly gets great trips, i dont think i will be playing the race with the field in their against him.
