Where Is Cc Lopez ?

RolloTomasi 07-03-2008 05:32 PM

What has Strike A Deal done this year aside from his OK effort in the Manhattan? The 11f seems like a stretch, but he might be fresh and seemed to have some potential last year as a 3yo.

I know the Fat Man is a fan, so I hope he gets into this thread but this seems like a terrible spot for him. I loved him in the Manhattan, figuring that he was forced into the pace in his first start of 2008 and that he would get a great trip behind the rabbit. Castellano pressed the button a tad too soon but this horse looks like he wants no part of 11fs. Alan Goldberg certainly could have found a better spot.

Tough to see Strike a Deal losing over here.

I'm an admirer of the broodmare Hasili however I have never been a fan of Chomp Elysees, I mean Champ Elysees...This guy no fault of his own but more to do so with his bloodlines has to be the most overrated horse in racing today. Constantly dissapoints, btw wouldn't Einstein had looked good in here had he not raced at CD in a meaningless mile tuneup that he was supposed to win. Me thinks?
