Comment on Radio Show and Suffolk Live Longshot

Thursdays "At the Races" show on Sirius 126 had one of the best rants ever recapping the Congressional hearings. The highlight of the barrage, as spoken by Mr Byk, in classically eloquent, all-fired-up Steviestyle Bykspeak called it, "A charade, masquerading as a farce in sheeps clothing."

Excccelent....

I love a fired up Bykster. Made me laugh out loud, but it actually hit the nail on the head. Perfect Steve, perfect.

Suffolk Downs today, Race #4(4:29) , the #9 Tiny Target.

I help out a horse retraining and placement group up here in N.E. and have come to know some of the trainers. Talked to the Sarge last weekend about various horses that may need a home, yatta yatta, all the while he's patting this calm horse. I ask about this horse, he tells me he's in Friday, and will be running "well, very well." Known this trainer for awhile, has never said anything like that to me before. Never touts his own runners.

May be worth a look.

Can't find the free Bris pp for the Suffolk race you mention. That's a 15-1 ml odds horse with blinkers on in a $5,000 Maiden Claiming race. The field is awful, naturally, with the ml fave a 5 yo who is 0 for 12, but exits maiden special weights there at Suffolk.
Tiny Target, a 3 yo gelding, has had just two starts, at $8,000 Maiden claiming level from Tampa, this his 1st start for new trainer Wayne Sargent Jr.. Very little info to go on (on paper) for Tiny Target, did have a 4 furlong work from the gate for this.

4:29 p.m. eastern time for this race as Suffolk starts late ala Belmont. May well be t-storrming
