TVG: Do Not Change Anything

TVG: Do Not Change Anything.

Here Are some recent Changes TVG has made:
*Blocking of Full Pick 4 Tickets for Viewers
*Cancellation of Monday & Tuesday Studio programming and The Finish Line
*Lack Of Live Races, especially NYRA races

If this does not change, I would support any boycott of using TVG Wagering Services & Programming!

What great news. They are finally doing something right. They waste about 25% of their air time yapping about tickets that they never get out of the 2nd leg anyways.

i saw this yesterday, they give a partial ticket only, blocking out one leg so that you have to sign up on tvg.com in order to get the "mystery" leg.

i had a big laugh. who cares about their tickets!

The 'mystery' leg...?

Coach Pants 06-16-2008 10:28 AM

It's akin to logging on a website to find the missing condiment on a turd sandwich.

somehow i don't think their site was overrun with traffic in search of the mystery play.

Habersham000 06-16-2008 11:03 AM

Schrup should be happy with the new TVG policy....he won't be embarrassing himself with losing ticket after losing ticket to the public anymore...just the valued TVG account holders....I don't think Corthers isnt too bad he goes for prices and hits them....Mr. B has never had a winner, when he picks the same horse as me I know I did something wrong with my handicapping.

ALostTexan 06-16-2008 11:13 AM

This should be a real concern to horseplayers around the world, and each of you playing the Pick 4's at the TVG tracks should be signing up for this petition. This will be taking out a great deal of dead money from these pools, because the number of people that are playing the TVG Pick 4 tickets and constantly dropping an extra $48 into the pools al of the time and rarely (if ever) hitting them will hurt the pools.

Sign up as fast as possible, because horseplayers need dead money from idiots following the leaders of TVG to great riches...

your right....and you watch, when Los Al sees a dip in their pools, they will be back posting

ArlJim78 06-16-2008 11:26 AM

something was fishy about the whole thing. I agree that shrup never hits, but curiously his mystery leg was the first leg, and he singled a horse that went off at 13-1 and won. that is really not his style, to single a horse that isn't an overwhelming favorite. anyway he actually hit it and I think it paid around 8 or 9 hundred.

SCUDSBROTHER 06-16-2008 12:26 PM

It's the lush's (MISTA B) idea. Schrupp can get the hard horses, but he botches the lower-priced legs.

zippyneedsawin 06-16-2008 12:34 PM

Do they really think people are going to signup for a TVG account JUST to see their stupid picks?

I think they don't believe it, but it's cheaper than giving them a raise. It doesn't make sense to us, but a big ego actually values stuff like this.

SCUDSBROTHER 06-16-2008 01:22 PM

I think that this move is odd, because people probably tune in to root against their picks. So, they are actually taking away a valuable part of the show.
