Brooklyn Belmont Consolation Double

Do they give a consolation double or do I get the post-time favorite?

Isn't it usually a consolation double in the amount of the winner from the Brooklyn?

There is a consolation double.....was posted on NYRA.com

Considering you had a 2-1 shot to the 2nd favorite in The Belmont and are so concerned about a payoff of a consolation double that is going to pay a miniscule amount , NYRA will be fed exing you a flowered blouse to wear today as a consolation.

The conso DD will probably pay about 6 or 7 dollars.

Actually I am paying out of my pocket before it hits my account and am trying to figure out how much to pay out. I am playing bookie for a bunch of people this weekend that don't have an account and don't usually bet horses. Doing my part to bring in fans. Can't say the same for you.

I am providing my friends with a way to bet the race. One actually is opening his own account.
