Breeders' Cup, never again

Turning it into two days with the addition of pseudo-championship races, splitting up the girls and the boys, keeping it at SA two years in a row (and probably making it a two-track show in the future), holding the host tracks financially hostage, kicking up the ticket price beyond the comfort zone of the average fan...

I've been to a few, and always enjoyed them (even sloppy Monmouth), but I'll never go to another Breeders' Cup again.

Just a rant. That feels better.

What a pack of thieves selling a watered down product. Can't wait for the 1 1/2 mile dirt race on Saturday.

He's referring to the fact that it's not really on dirt. . .

Okay...gotcha. Damn rubber bands. Maybe we should start referring to races as turf and non-turf.

Whatever they are going to be doing in Dubai will take the place of the Breeders Cup that weve ruined

Linny 05-31-2008 07:52 PM

Soon it will be cheaper to go to the DWC than the BC.
