Google Maps

Too much information.

I just looked up my street address on Google Maps
and my house, my whole neighboorhood, has a picture
from street level.

Creepy that they actually drive around and take
pictures on this level.

I had seen the pictures from above and thought
it was really neat. But they actually drive around and
take pictures from the street. I had no idea.

have you tried spinning the picture around until you can see the photo car and camera mount?

noticed they blank out the license plate of cars in driveways?

Yes.
Its frkkn incredible.

I had no idea.
I could not see the photo car though.
How long has this been around?

By the leaves, sun, etc... it looks like March
for my neighboorhood.

pgardn 05-29-2008 11:53 PM

Ok I see that stuff on the photo car.

Must have been a year ago March.

Jeez.

street level probably started before i knew about it but i found out from my work about 2 years ago. it was just major intersections then but all the blank spots are getting filled in.

btw: if anyone doesn't find their house, check windows live local. they have their own coverage and what's not on one is often on the other.

I wonder if the photo can get close enough to show that my neighbor doesn't mow the 1 ft strip of land that I own on the South side of my driveway that is connected to his land.
