his writing style is one that i love. when i read something he has wrote, see the latest entry on the front page, i feel i am a part of it. great stuff. his love and passion for this sport is evident thru the words he writes.

A special time for you indeed Steve. I do hope that this year is not ruined with me unable to make the trek North to see you and the boys this year. I told Hooves the other day on the phone that since I am currently unemployed, after my surgery I would be more than happy to be put on your payroll for this summer and just hang around your BBQ joint. That alone should spike a tremondous increase in sales, especially with the female population. It's a tough sacrafice that I would be making, but for a friend, I would do it.:D

My current plans are to be at Belmont on Oct. 7th to watch YOU KNOW WHO in the Hirsch Turf Classic. Any chance you will be there? I know it's a ways away.

Hey Kev... you know I'm one of your biggest fans!!! Love the pic by the way... Kids are good... my youngest is now stationed in Thailand! yup... she put up pics on "myspace" and there is a great one with her and an elephant! too cool! apparently a guy walks this elephant down the streets with stalks of celery to sell to people to feed the giant! She looks scared ****less! haha... my 2nd oldest is in the fire academy of Phila... he was also in the USMC and being a fireman is a dream come true... the docs have an eye on his heart (enlarging a bit) but he's doing great...
Dad's in the hospital again... they had to open him up and literally peel scar tissue from his lungs... he sounds good... I'll be headed up when he's discharged so I can help mom with him... (mom is all of 100 lbs.. dad is a big guy)... thanks for asking Kev.... You on the other hand look great!!
