Can somebody explain to me why Ever a Friend is 6/5 and Daytona is 5/2 right now? Are bettors in California really that afraid of the Mitchell "move up"?
There is virtually no way he repeats his last performance.

Somebody smart was paying attention, Daytona went off as the 8-5 favorite and Ever a Friend was 9-5.

I know I'm being cynical here but I'm REALLY glad Ever a Friend didn't win.

He still held second to knock me out of cashing. I'm really getting to the breaking point on this game. If it isn't the pinheads doing the complete opposite of what they should be doing on a horse, it's these trainers who have the ability to turn piss into champagne.
