This thing is loaded! I'm the Tiger is Grade 1 caliber, Kazoo has been strong but seems to be tailing off, Spooky Mulder is game as hell, With Distinction shows up often at a nice price, Vicarage is graded stakes caliber as is Spanish Chestnut. This race is better than some of the graded stakes we have seen! Tons of early speed among the class makes me think that Awesome Twist should be tough here - hopefully at better than 4/1!

that is a nice race

all for $61,000 ???

sumitas 07-24-2006 12:42 PM

i know it, this is quite a field...i'll be looking at the card soon and will have some picks maybe tomorrow.

What a race, better than many stakes you come across. Many ways to go and still would have to think about it.

I know one thing for sure, LITF would not be himself were he to enter the gate against this group.

Gander 07-24-2006 01:13 PM

I would agree, there are a few in here who would beat Fog in this race.

Secretariat 07-24-2006 03:49 PM

you know who is putting up consistent 108's at 6f,

the one,
the only

the KD rabbit, 2005...

spanish rabbit.(smells like chestnuts roasting on a open fire)

he looks like he will get a piece here.

sumitas 07-24-2006 06:57 PM

i like the look of I'm The Tiger...he's coming off a long layoff but is there anyone better than Frankel coming off a long layoff ?

the Schylerville, Desire To Excel has got to be the one to beat. i'm not floored by any of the peds in the race. i think Desire To Excel can hold up pedigree wise. Angel Island, that ped is well thought out.

Gotta love Spooky Mulder. What a trier.

sumitas 07-24-2006 07:22 PM

luv him...he's coming off a tough win and i just don't think this is his race

Wonder how many will scratch because the race came up so tough? Over/under is 3...

Totally agreed re: Awesome Twist..

I love him in here but need at least 6/1. I think he'll float up considering the relatively low BSFs..

Secretariat 07-25-2006 08:44 AM

The 2, I'm the tiger is much better than the rest here.
if he can pick up his form where he left off he should win by 4 or 5. but its his first back, so he'll win by 2.
