An ambulance chaser.

The fight for national health care should be hilarious the next 4 years.

even as the tree hugging, bleeding heart liberal that I am, I never "got" Edwards...and am surprised so many do.

I don't think there is a politician in Washington that I would piss on if they were on fire.

They might as well put corporate badges on their suits when they're campaigning and debating.

I'm so sick of hearing these cheesy I Have A Dream knockoff speeches. Yeah we're gonna have some real groundbreaking change. Give me a f.ucking break.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO O

TheSpyder 05-15-2008 12:22 PM

Wow, I agree with you 100%....that's unusual.

Maybe instead of badges they should do what Nascar does and wear labels of all the endorsors and lobbiests.

Reporter: Well, McCain how did you manage to pull out a win in that election?

Obama: (Putting on a Exxon hat) Well, the Exxon team really had our party really humming and with the help of the Merck/Phizer people handing out those pills at the polls, we had everything the power to pull through.

Did McCain just lose the election?

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/...013/index.html

Predicts the war will be won by January 2013.

In more amusing campaign news, Joe Biden categorizes President Bush's comments at the Knesset accusing Obama and Democrats of appeasing terrorists as "bullshit."

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/

Combover and all, I do like Joe Biden.

TheSpyder 05-15-2008 01:11 PM

I like Biden as well as it's too bad he didnt get any momentum going. Only one of the people I actually trust. Smart man.

And see, I think he's fantastic. I'd probably prefer him in the White House over any of the rest of them. So I can cross my fingers that he'll be damn close as Obama's #2.

Mortimer 05-15-2008 03:45 PM

^^^ Also loved the ''graceful" Hilary.

Back in the day, I sure did.

But I probably hate her for the same reason now that lots of people have hated her since the 90s, I just needed some time to see it myself. I still think she's a smart, competent woman, but I have no discernable affection for her anymore.
