Not sure if there was a thread but it should be interesting to watch.
I was there last week and got to see a horse training going the "wrong way".
Pretty interesting.

Pretty interesting.

If that race stays on the turf I heard they are going to use a walk-up start because they go around 1.5 times and there's nowhere to move the starting gate to (no gap).

good luck.

off the turf except for the 5th. The wrong way race now changed to the right way, going 10F.

AeWingnut 07-22-2006 11:37 AM

handicapped all of it

The 90% chance of rain kinda ruined the whole day there for me.
But love the variety for a change

well, rats. wasn't that supposed to be a two miler?

Pedigree Ann 07-22-2006 11:43 AM

Bummer. I wanted to see that.

sumitas 07-22-2006 11:47 AM

Darn, such an exciting day of racing.

Danzig 07-22-2006 11:57 AM

well, i just looked at the card, and the first few races aren't extreme--and i couldn't care less about the battle of the sexes race. first i plan to sit and watch is the 2f dash. that, the fast daily double, the ccao at belmont, and then the mabee tonite.
