Larry and Eight Belles
 

Sitting here watching ESPN as all of you are I'm sure..Just saw the segment with Larry on Eight Belles. I know his filly most likely won't win, but I really like Larry Jones. A real likable sort and a bit of a character. I wish him the best of luck today.

I had the chance to spend some time with Larry last summer. He's one of the nicest people I've met in racing. He's also an outstanding horseman. if I had horses, he'd be my first choice to train them. He's very hands on. Eight Belles' groom handled Hard Spun last year.
