KNS in :47.1 zip at Arlington

Yowza.. nice half mile.. 6th of 38.. TC told Chuck he was stunned by how she worked and that she's back to where she was at her peak at Tampa (Dec/Jan). All things go for start two weeks from today...

pmacdaddy 05-03-2008 11:21 AM

Woah...

pointman 05-03-2008 11:41 AM

Sizzling work, she is coming into this start nice!

GBBob 05-03-2008 11:44 AM

Just saw her...she looks great and was in a good mood ( unlike Thursday when she was a real bitch)

BillW 05-03-2008 02:25 PM

The track seems really fast today. Let's not get too excited.

Danzig 05-03-2008 06:36 PM

this may be a knee jerk reaction to the race today, but i think i want out. if anyone wants my two shares, let me know.
not sure i want involved in this game anymore.
of course by tomorrow i may have changed my mind....but i'm just sick about it right now.

Riot 05-03-2008 09:30 PM

I think the morality of this sport comes down to always chosing to do what's best for the horse. The people that control that welfare are the trainers and the owners.

'Zig, you being an owner is a good thing.

Injuries and fatalities are part of the sport, do we have to be so dramatic. Wait I hear Violins playing in the backround.....Get off the soap box, it was tragic but get over it.

This maybe a knee jerk reaction but I don't know if I can go on with this partnership. Not everyone agrees with all of my posts. blah blah blah

Danzig 05-04-2008 03:13 PM

just to clarify, 3k, i wrote that post yesterday just after the race and finding out about the filly.
that was how i felt at the time, had nothing to do with the partnership itself, but had everything to do with what i felt right then-that i didn't think i wanted to be in a sport where too often a horse loses everything while we helplessly stand by.
today, like i said in that post might happen, i feel less bewildered about it all.
and then you come, 24 hours later, and rail at my post because it didn't jibe with your thoughts. hey, feel free. but my opinion should have no more or less weight then anyone elses, just because we have differing pov's. i wasn't 'on a soapbox' and i'm not quite sure you took it to be such.

IrishofNDMan 05-04-2008 04:31 PM

Met KNS yesterday as GBBOB took me into the Barn animal. Was a really cool experience seeing how all of the horses had different personalities. Even got to meet the famous Hacker Craft and feed him a peppermint. :D

I didn't mean to offend you and you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I think my reaction was based on this being a partnership for fun with no huge financial ramifications, so I would have chosen to just walk away or contact Steve without making an announcement. People choose to vent in different ways. By the way I wasn't offended by the flattering names you called me. :D

Danzig 05-04-2008 06:00 PM

i knew i was upset when i wrote that yesterday, which is why i put on there that it was probably knee jerk. it was just awful yesterday.

i enjoy the game, mostly...when i talked to my husband he told me not to do a thing til i calmed down. it's why i usually try to take a step back when i get angry, etc....but it was just a rotten end to a rotten day.

and yeah, flattering for sure. :o
