FT Saratoga Yearling Sale

3 sessions over 5 days. I see the select sale has a couple of Storm Cats so that should really get the hearts pumping.

Should be an interesting sale.
I'll be watching for the #160 colt and the #171 filly.

Some powerful matings there chaps. I'll be watching the Desert Warrior foals in the preferred and open sessions since he is the sire of our expected foal. These are his first yearlings.

Coming off the heels of the successful FT Ky select yearling sale is the Saratoga Yearling sale.

There were 477 select yearlings offered over 2 days in Ky. Over 2 days in NY FT will offer about 180 select yearlings on Tues/Wed 8/8, 8/9.

The following weekend Sat/Sun 8/12, 8/13 FT offers about 191 preferred yearlings.

Wed. 8/15 FT has a one day open yearling sale for about 160 yearlings. For some reason this FT open sale has replaced the NYBSC sale.

Anyway, 477 select yearlings were offered over 2 days in KY. 531 yearlings are offered at FT Saratoga over 5 days in August. It appears this sale is set up extremely well for buyers not to be overwhelmed by too much stock and to have plenty of time to evaluate the stock and plan their strategy.

This should be quite a sale, imo.

i'll take #102 for colts--if he vets 1/2 as well as his pedigree then there's your sale topper...I'll take #61 for fillies...I love More Than Ready and I think he's had better success so far with his daughters...

Oh yeah...I know he is gonna cost a pretty penny, but just adore that pedigree. May really take to the grass.

How do you know that? They haven't raced yet, getting excited about yearling sales is worthless...
