Hey man, :21.48, :43.89 and wins by 9 1/4 in hand, straight as an arrow in the stretch. Think it warrants mentioning, considering how people love to make early judgments on two-year-olds.

Not very often is a 4-5 shot an overlay. This horse is a 1.5 million dollar purchase by Storm Cat out of a Saint Ballado mare, Country Romance.

This is Country Romance's first foal. She was a nice sprinter in her day. She won 4 of 10 including the Victory Ride Stakes. All of her wins were sprinting. Also, she is a half to Katz Me If You Can. That one was a superb sprinting filly, winning $400k all sprinting.

Finally, the dam, Country Romance is out of Cuddles, the $500k winner that won the 2000 Grade 1 Hollywood Starlet.

If you go even further back on the dam side, you see 1986 Apple Blossom winner, Love Smitten, who earned $450k and 1987 Beverly D winner Dancing on a Cloud.

Obviously, in the hands of Todd Pletcher, this one is going to excel sprinting and was a virtual gimme today, especially given the fact that all of Pletcher's 2 year olds come out live at Keeneland.

Um no...Embrace the Storm, who is owned by West Point and was suppose to be good, is her first foal. This horse is his full brother. Embrace the Storm MIGHT break his maiden someday, might

Had the misfortune of running into this one today with my Medaglia d'Onore. Looked pretty impressive to me, but it's still early. Would like to avoid him until the races stretch out.

Love Smitten is the dam of Swain, I think. Nice family, good looking colt.

When you have a few moments take a look at the progeny on the female side.
This horse is bred to be a champion and he ran like it today.

A son of Storm Cat with a nice female family.... go figure.

This horse sold for just $300K as a yearling. He pinhooked very well after a very good work at FT Calder.
