You know my feelings. If the horse is healthy enough to run and he's happy being in training and racing, I see no problem with it. The horse doesn't know what level of racing he's running at. He just knows he's back to doing what he was bred to do. Some say that he deserves better because he's earned a lot of money on the track. I never have believed that makes sense. He may have been a better horse than 90% of the horses out there but that doesn't mean that he's tried harder than they have. He doesn't deserve better than the $5k claimer from Yavapai that goes out there 20 times a year and tries as hard as he can does he? And maybe for him, racing is better than being turned out on some farm.
