He is being sent to River Edge Farm, where is where always went for his layups.

agreed... I was just thrilled to hear that he's doing well.

I was under the impression that he was retired upon his freak injury several months back (and didn't think he had any hope of coming back).
Either way, he'll be missed.

I read somewhere that he leaves for his new residence today.

He was retired right after that happened, but he has been around the Mandella barn recouperating. Hono would be able to tell us more about why and what is going on, when she gets logs on again

As the last of the Affirmed's he will be sorely missed.
