I seem to recall that the retirement page starts with an announcement about the colt Postponed. Well, Postponed has himself a G1 winner in New Zealand, a horse named Pasta Post who won the Easter H (G1-Nz) yesterday.

Pasta Post is a very good horse, 8 wins from 10 starts. Bigger and better things ahead, targeting the Cox Plate in Melbourne.

Postponed has had another G1 winner in this country too, Dorabella, who won the 1000 Guineas G1 as a 3yo and then the Captain Cook Stakes G1 last year.

He's been a successful sire here, 14th on the premiership with 18 winners and $814,000 in earnings for the 2007/08 season.
