broadcast archives?

I used to be able to listen to the archive but for whatever reason I can't access them anymore. I click on the little black triangle and the line starts moving but I get no sound.

Any body else having the same problem?

I can still hear the 24 broadcast that from the link:
"Click here to listen to horse racing radio 24 hours a day! And to the live broadcast from 4-7 EST."

This is very bothersome since I work when Steve's program is on.

If it is a "me" problem....... any of you tekkies have a suggestion?

Stix..

We've recently switched servers and I think Casey has heard from some people that have had a problem. I'll ask him tomorrow... Will move this thread to the ATR Room and we may get some help from Slews My Hero who has been really helpful with this stuff...

Thx for trying to listen!

If you have trouble with any of the archives, including last night's, use the following URL without the quotes:

Now, the above address will get you segment 3 from April 10, 2008. To get segment 1, change the very last portion of the address, to make it read 041008a.mp3, and to get segment 2, change it to 041008b.mp3. If you need a different date, change the date in the mp3 filename. It's always in a MMDDYY format. You'll just have to add the a, b, or c to reflect the segment you want. So, if I want segment 2 from April 9, the URL would be, without the quotes:

Just paste this URL, without the quotes, into your browser. Make the filename change to reflect the segment you want, and hit enter to launch the stream.

Hope that helps.

Not sure.. I let Casey know and will talk tomorrow a.m. with Denise as well... I know they are in process of moving to a new sound system that has been tested and offers greater bandwith with improved sound quality. But that shouldn't have any affect on archives currently.

I'm not sure what your problem would be. I just punched in a bunch of dates from Feb and March and they all played fine with the URL I posted. Below is the link for hour 3 on 3/4/08 that you had trouble with. It played fine for me:

You are my hero!

SlewsMyHero,

Thank you! Your method allows me to l listen to the archives!
In fact I listening to the Linda Stitch segment from today.

My computer is less than a year old and should be able to utilize all the features on the "At the Races" site. Hopefully the archives will be more easily accessible soon but this will do until then.

Thanks again!
