Detroit is going the Yankee route...$$$...plus..as you have noted many times, bullpen horrific and everyone behind Verlander questionable

Cleveland legit...should win

KC too young, but on any given day..

Minny...See KC w/out being too young. Gardenhire best manager no one has heard of

Not to mention the fact that fragile guys like Sheff and Ordonez are not likely to play a full schedule (sheffield i already banged up). KC has a good group of young players and new management. I'm not sold on Minnesota. Gardenhire does a good job and they have some good players but the staff is a big question mark and there is a lack of talent at a lot of positions.

I agree about Minny..They have won with smoke, mirrors and Santana many times, but are missing either Smoke or Mirrors and Santana so in the long run I don't think they'll be there

KC still young and pitching not experienced

KC is young but have a pretty good minor league system and the number 3 pick in the upcoming draft

and that would be the 16 yr old SS from High School Musical High?

I know...some eventually turn into JD Drews or Joe Mauers, but immediate impact is a stretch

Not like they'll be able to draft the third best player. They will have to draft whoever isn't going to demand a crazy contract that they can't afford.

They have drafted very well lately, they will still get a shot at a very good player

Yeah, just venting about the silly system that is the MLB draft now with the small market teams unable to draft the best players.

Yeah the "slot system" that the big teams ignore.
