Curlin,Pancho,and the US horses start the flight home
 

:) Dubai World Cup Champion Curlin, his sidekick Pancho, and all the US horses have just left Dubai. All loaded well from the Quarantine, and onto the plane. Takeoff was on time, and should land at JFK arround 5:00pm. Belmont for 48hr Quarantine, then on to Keenland. All the Calf. horses will stay on the plane and fly on to LAX after the JFK stop.
Everyone sad to go, and the Dubai party to end. It was great to see some old friends, and make some new ones. Thank you everyone, It's been great to see the worlds best everyday. :D

Sounds like you had a wonderful time and we appriciated the almost daily updates and pictures... It was a a great night of racing for sure! Hope all make it some safe and we get to see Curlin and some of the others run again in the sometime near future.

I know that Dave H transferred all his Cup night shots onto disc before going to sleep on Sat night/Sun morning. That early flight must have been murder for him and the CZAR!

Your return plans have not been leaked. But, please hurray as I can't hold it for much longer. "They" will try all tactics to retrieve this information and afterall I am weak. The redneck secret service has been alerted.

Jim, Good job with your color and insight during the Carnival and DWC. You complemented Ms. Wood's already good work on OTBTV.
Also, I had the chance to read Michele MacDonald's daily blog. Good work and very enjoyable. I hope she posts next year as well.

Better yet, maybe Ms Wood gets to go blog from Dubai!:) :D :p
