The Beverly D.

Looks like a good one this year with Gorella, Film Maker, Honey Ryder and possibly Melhor Ainda. Going to be a nice couple of mos. of racing coming up.

Steve I love Gorella and can't wait to see her at Arlington....still wish she would have had a clear trip in the BC Mile....nice to see you and John again at Arlington on sunday.

we might get to see a Rock of Gibraltor type close with Gorella and Arlington's turf stretch, would be awesome because I should be sitting finish line with a box.....Haber, can only that one guy take care of platinum members or can you hook it up?

I agree, that should be a great race. I don't think Honey Ryder is as good as Gorella and MA, though....not on their best. I really think Bobby will have MA sharp and we know how good she was last year. What's nice is that I may get a price on her; she won't be favored.

Yeah, Gorella is the obvious fav but Melhor will take serious action. Arlington people do not forget, and most of the people that were at last years Million Day, will be there this Million Day....

I wonder if Biancone nominated Lady of Venice. Hopefully she'd be uncoupled with Gorella.....that entry would get pounded at the windows.

Habersham000 07-18-2006 04:22 PM

Scav pm me and let me know what you need and i will see what I can do...if i can't do it I will have Chris help you out.

Gander 07-18-2006 04:26 PM

I talked to Patrick about Lady of Venice quite a bit late in May and at that point he said he was running in the Churchill race and then, obviously, pointing to the two Grade 1s for 3YOs in the fall, the Garden City at Belmont and the Queen Elizabeth at Keeneland. I tried to sell him on the Diana. We'll see.
