Like Ginger Brew in the 8th

The Bid 03-15-2008 02:23 AM

Big difference in a 2L and what shes running with in about 12 hrs. Im under the assumption that Absolutely Cindy is the best 3yo grass/synthetic filly in the country, so I cannot go any direction except the horses exiting her race. Im hoping Mott and Oliver have their fillies ready for a top effort.

Certainly Lynch is having a really nice meet. I love her getting back to the grass, but this is a serious class test and shes got a tough draw

I'm going to take a shot with the Dutrow horse Frost Giant in The Skip Away, I thought his last was good enough to make him a contender for this one.

He'll be bet very hard today. . . Deservedly so, however. . .

I think the morning line is deceiving in the Skip Away. I don't think there will be huge support for Gotcha Gold. In fact I'm expecting him to be off the board again. Frost Giant should be the favorite imo. The other horse I feel that has a decent shot is Better Than Bonds.

WarranT 03-15-2008 10:48 AM

race 9 #2 Gottcha Gold

# Wanted no part of Cushion track or speed duel from Post 12 at Santa Anita
# Placed second in Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile to Corinthian
# Beat Lawyer Ron last year
# Drilling smartly at Gulfstream for return

Coach Pants 03-15-2008 10:55 AM

Risky ticket here. If I can get past the 1st leg then I have a good shot.

3,7/2,9,12/2,4,8/1,3,5,8,12
$90

The Bid 03-15-2008 11:07 AM

Dutrow has said Frost Giant cannot be beat.

Im hoping Gotcha Gold can create enough space early and the track carries him home

I can't bet the cheap bastard. One race on the dirt isn't going to sell me. If he juiced him real good then fine.

Well that makes him a lock or..... Last time I remember a Trainer saying that the horse lost badly...Well from the standpoint of his last race he did look good doing it.

Dutrow entered Mr. Umphrey to be the rabbit for his other horse ( Frost Giant )...
Umphrey will press GG into submission if he isn't scratched.

I don't have the past p's in front of me, but when looking at this race the night before. He did race against gr.1 types in Europe. I hear you about the 1 good dirt race but the others don't have alot to offer. The #2 looks like the danger from post 2, though I want no part of him at the 5/2 ML price especially with Lopez aboard, if he is pressured CC won't know what to do with himself. Not the most reliable rider...

I just can't take a short price on a 5 year old who was intended for turf, been in training for over 2 and a half years and only 9 races to show for it. IEAH talk a good game, I like to bet against them.

The horse that gets helped the most by the rabbit is Hunting. I can't imagine GG is going to rate here at all and Frost G is going to have to pass a couple decent ones before Hunting comes along. I like Hunting today.

The Bid 03-15-2008 12:55 PM

Umphrey just ran a huge race, they arent bringing him back unless hes on a suicide mission.

Coach, Im with you, I cant take a short price on a horse like Frost Giant. Hes supposed to win but I will let him beat me .

CSC, Im just telling you what was said. I could careless what someone thinks about a trainer saying their horse cant lose. I didnt post it for any reason but to add more information for the players

hoovesupsideyourhead 03-15-2008 01:18 PM

thanks bid..good luck today.........

The Bid 03-15-2008 01:44 PM

you too! Im phone betting today

CSC 03-16-2008 09:16 AM

I was wrong, CC gave the horse a great ride. Problem is you just don't know when he will come up with a good one.

I ended up betting another horse other then FG, 6-5 was truly mindbloggling..
