Browsing the worktab....

Rags To Riches worked a bullet 3 furlongs at Palm Beach Downs yesterday....

Interestingly the headline at Bloodhorse is about a three furlong work turned in by Lava Man and there is no mention of R2R's work I saw...

But, anyway, when I browsed the Palm Beach Downs worktab, I saw that a horse who was listed as a yearling out of that excellent race mare White Cliffs turned in a four furlong 49 1/5th move.

Either it's a misprint - and that's really an unnamed '06 foal out of White Cliffs, or someone is pulling a Ron Ellis and has their years mixed up.

Forget about Surf Cat, and Country Star's 5 furlong work in 59 flat at HP today...

The big news is that PG1985's Derby horse worked a bullet at Palm Meadows.

When did Ellis get his years mixed up, and with what? Just would like to know what you are talking about...

Holy Cow!! That's like a Curlin workout right there.. I don't care who ya are.. That is downright SMOKIN'!!!

kentuckyrosesinmay 03-12-2008 07:54 PM

It's nice to see that Rags is working again, but she has a long way to go.

If she makes it back, Curlin stays around, and Nashoba's Key stays healthy, it should be a fun year.
