That's what Bernardini did breezing today......if he's this sharp for the Jim Dandy, then I expect a great performance. I'm so excited about the race - I just hope there's a fast track (or at least not sloppy). I also wish it were this week - the anticipation is killing me

The 9F distance is going to make for an interesting race. There are a couple horses that the 10F travers might be a problem for but they might give him a run at 9F. I think Sinister Minister is going to the Haskell but I think he could beat Bernardini at 9F.

Fast track, sloppy track, no track, it doesn't matter. He blows them away. Think it's a little weird he went from 1:03 4/5 to :58 4/5 though..

That was probably his last stiff work. The race is less than 2 weeks away.

Yeah, but to ease him along with a bunch of 1:03+ breezes, then suddenly blow out sub-:59 is a little strange to me. Whatever though, I trust Albertrani's judgment and I don't think it matters with this horse.

Albetrani apparently wanted the colt to go in 1:00 and change, lol, but Bernardini had other ideas. Apparently, he did it very easily and within himself.

I love Old Trieste so I hope Sinister Minister blows em away in the Haskell, but the one I really want is the Jim Dandy, even though it's not a grade 1, million dollar race.

ya might see another slower breeze prior to the race. the horse probaly needed a work like that to take some edge off lol before he hurt himself in his stall
