Root, Lucarelli sighting in the 5th. Looks competitive.

Solis has been red hot lately and riding for Hendricks, guessing that horse is work a look. Also, I know that it is hard to bet Carava, but that McArther horse has had a couple brutal trips (wide/bumped). Just got back to the Calder top, could move forward.

I ended up three deep with the 5, 7 & 8. I initally looked at singling 7 Recoil but I just can't single a Martin Garcia mount. There is a pretty good chance that he could be loose on the lead depending on how some of the FTS fire. I expect big improvement from both of the 2nd time starters 5 Storm The Field & 8 Dee Tee Bee.

I am not that concerned about the FTSs in the field. The Gomez/Sadler horse will be an underlay, the training has just been OK and if Sadler thought he had a horse he would put this 160K purchase in MSW company. Pretty sure Hendricks FTS will want to route although he has shown pretty sharp speed in workouts but his pedigree doesn't really suggest winning first time out. Anything Flores rides is dangerous but Gomez got off McArthur after 2 tries and the horse was 6 back of Recoil last out in a wide trip.

Solis and Mig are coming in for one mount each today....for what it is worth

I had the #2 $68 winner in the 4th on both my tickets....My main ticket is alive for 5/6...the 3rd race was a bunch of crap

can't believe this thing is paying out, but it does to the 2, 3, and 6.

not sure it will the 1/8 look tough to me .. and on the sly sa managment tossed padroza a free dinner if he stiffs..

I think the 7 looks to be in a better spot here.. got stuck down on the rail in his debut and got banged around a bit.. I'll take him at 8/1
